JZeFF
I am a fan of infinity.. i have owned two 10 kappa perfect vq's.. and assorted reference series and kappa series speakers.. I am planning the bass part of my current car... Im not sure what would give me better results... (im not a competition kinda guy) Three Infinity Kappa perfect 12vq's run in parallel for a 1.34 ohm load on a DAT 1000.1 Or a Fi BTL 15 (2ohm dvc) on the dat 1000.1 run in parallel for a 1ohm load? Im just kinda at a toss up Quote Pioneer x930 bt Rockford t2500 bdcp 18" nightshade v1 DC audio 175.4 RF power T162s up front, infinity 3 way 6x9's in the back (removing rear stage and re-doing doors soon) 3x XS power D2700's Knukonceptz 0awg all around
brewer_brewer
i would say the btl would be louder and get lower on its RMS power vs. the 3 12's but you would only be giving it about 1400 rms so i say go with the 12's with that power. JZeFF
would another amp be a better option for around the same price as the DAT? CaptainzPlanetz
would another amp be a better option for around the same price as the DAT? The AudioQue 2200D will power that BTL nicely, it is $389. Quote ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ korey_hofer
339" for the 12's 179 for the 15" the 3 motors should be atleast as strong as the btl so I would go with the vq's Quote previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. JZeFF
what other 12" subs are around the $200 dollar price range that might be better than the infinities? They handle 600 Watts each so that DAT HF 1000.1 would be perfect since it's underrated. kfx450r
DC Level 3s.. great sounding sub x2 Great all around sub. I think youd like either setup, personally i think the btl would just be funner (get loud and low and potential to handle tons of power when needed)
LT.Smoke
The FI BTL will probably be the best choice it will definitely perform well and play low. As a few other people have stated above.
