96 Taurus, 2000 Watts RMS and needed electrical

Recommended Posts

Was told to post here...

Doing a system in a 96 Ford Taurus GL, need to run a Sundown SAZ-2000D or may run a SAZ-1000D, wondering what the needed electrical is for each.

Is there a H.O. Alt availible for my vehicle? Also what batteries do you advise using for in the engine bay application and for in the trunk...

Help appreciated and bound to buy it from you :)

One of our Rhino series 250 amp units and a single battery under the hood will power a 2000D at one ohm, no problem. The 250 amp Rhinos series unit is $399 shipped, usually dynos around 270 amps on that vehicle with around 160 at idle. I would do the XS power D3400 under the hood, we have them on sale for $239 shipped. They have a 3 year replacement warranty, unheard of in a competition battery.

Thanks

Matt
