kryptonite
I'm starting to build my new box for the 18" BTL that i just got and i'm having trouble with the tuning. I've been told to make it big and tune it high by some people, than others have told me make it average and tune it low. Fi states around 6.5 cubes at 32 hz (Please correct me if i'm wrong) Than other people have told me to do like 8 cubes at like 38-40 hz. Can anyone help me decide on what to do? It'll be a daily hitter but i want it to slam as hard as possible. Being in an ext. cab ranger it'll pound regardless, but i want poeple to ask how many 15s i have (that seems to be the usual comment) I'm going to be running around 4000 watts rms to it, maybe a smidge less depending on the amp. Any and all opinions, statements, comments, etc. are welcome and needed DC SOUND LAB NUT HUGGERCurrently Own 4 - 18" lvl 6s (m3) w/full Carbon Fiber option 2 - DC 5k lvl 4 motor lvl 2 motor On 8/2/2013 at 8:13 PM, n8ball2013 said: this is much worse.
