So yes 4 ohm theoretically should sound better then the driver wired down lower. However if you just want it loud.... your probably not going to hear the difference. raytard Posted July 25, 2009 Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 go google what a farad is, and then do the math and laugh about how useless they are, especially in a high current scenario like you would have. also, a hifonics putting out about 5000 watts will draw in the ballpark of 500 amps, even if you keep your voltage at 14.
