the amps are cheap. those are pioneer 760 watt amps 2 channel. I have them bridged to get the most power out of them. and then i run a 1F cap to keep my lights from dimming. drive at nite with bass thumping, makes my lights dimm way way way too much :) i am going to upgrade amps this years if i keep the setup

Oki well glad you have the better subs. they just look like the Evo series ones so i had to check.

and YES, you should do an amp upgrade for sure-those will be pretty underpowered and if you wanna go bigtime I'd look at maybe some PG octane R 15.0:1's-maybe one per sub or just one to the pair.

They're not too pricey. Either that or a RF power series if you could afford it.

IMO-Powerbass has done what fosgate did, but to a lessor degree: retool their linup and I prefer the older looks/styling and the numbers don't JUMP OUT @ me as THAT much better although I have not done the indepth comparison yet so maybe juries still out on em.

The older Powerbass extreme stuff was pretty nice and looked sexy as hell IMO. Only after I got PWNED by a guy w/ 4 PBX 12's in a giant ported box in a ext cab chevy truck-did I think/know PB had any decent stuff.

So i bought me a PBX12 (still for sale in the FS section).

That thing is beastly. I havn't run it yet but if I don't sell it by the time I have an empty trunk to put it in I will see how loud I can get w/ just one 12. shold be fun w/ that chunky of a sub, plus the chrome is sexy.

PB also has the EVOLUTION series under the "Extreme" umbrella, which i think urs are from the looks of em w/ the metallic-bluish/green face instead of just black on black.

The PBX-ES is still good lookin stuff but the numbers seem about half of the straight up PBX line. The PBX 12's are like 1800watts max and xmax is 14mm or so and the ES series is 900w max and 9.5mm xmax I believe.

Still decent but more of their "SQ" line i think.

Good luck w/ it and like I said i can't wait to see it all crammed in an Integ.

i want to put 2 powerbass 12's in that wall box. it is going to host 4 subs.. 2 12's and 2 15" subs. i already have it marked out. they will fit perfect and then upgrade the port. here are my box dimentions.

27 3/4" high

15 1/8" width

31" length

port dimentions

10" length

3 7/8" width

10 1/8" deep

Not trying to put you down or anything but that box is kinda iffy....

1.) Looks too small(not enough airspace)

2.) Not Enough port area

3.) I dont see a double-baffle...Hope you used some bracing...

I could be wrong, this is just judging by your pictures...

the box is a good 3 cubic feet for air space.. if i was running more power to the subs yes.. i would need more air space.. but for running 760 per sub the air space is fine. the subs hit good in the box. it is a ported box. air just flys out of that box when bumping lil jon. i think it is fine.

how i had it setup before it was hitting 135 db. so i changed around the wiring. and wired up the subs differently and they hit 50 times harder.. there is a huge difference. i blew out my backwindow in my focus.. not sure why.. :) ok i have a good idea.. but anyway.. i am ready for sacramento. i am going home with something :) and if not my fiancee and i will have a lot to talk to talk about on our drive back reno

3 cubes isnt near enough space for those subs, I would say 3 cubes EACH minimum, If it were me I would do about an 8 cube box with like 150sq.in. of port tuned at like 55Hz...in a 1st gen teggy you have a chance for a 150 if you were running more power..(btw those amps only throw out about 550-600wrms)...

well.. on how much money i have.. they work fine. i have had the amps for 2 years. with rent, car payment, insurance, utilites on my budget they thump.. my fiance isn't working and they money we have is what i bring home.. you want to donate some amps to Xtreme SPL i would be more than happy to put them to use.. until then they are going to have to wait til i can afford them. i am working on changing everything over from IllusiveDream.org to XtremeSPL.org. so..
