I wouldn't want to let it get any lower than 13 volts but that is just my opinion.

thats the lowest i let it go unless im not paying attention and it goes to 12 or so then i turn it down a bit to try to keep it up at 13

i've always stuck to the rule of thumb. 12 volt system right? no lower than 12 volts

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

no less than 10 volts.

Wut ;/

Anything less than 12v is getting into danger territory, your rail voltage will be plummeting big time, you'll be clipping something wicked even if your gains were set by DMM or scope, everything starts getting unhappy.
