so i was wondering, which sub has the most excursion out of all the brands? i was thinking the JL W7 but i can't be sure.

buy one of every sub made, test them, and then let us know :)

there was one on youtube, but i can't seem to find it again. it had boston acoustic on the dust cap, but it wasn't by any brand. just another prototype. it had some HUGE excursion though.

excursion doesn't matter

It does come into play.....

The new XXX is definitely up there with 54mm one way excursion. There are a few very rare or straight up prototype subs with extreme excursion capabilities but as far as mainstream I can't think of anything more than 54mm.

JL's W7 has 29mm if I remember correctly, similar to a Fi Q or AA Havoc.
