Big 3 with 4 gauge and 200 amp fuse

Ok I was wondering if it would be ok to temporally use a 200 amp fuse for 4 gauge and then upgrade to 1/0 and a 300 amp fuse.

So is it ok to use a 200 amp fuse on 4 gauge lol.

Thanks guy's

I personally wouldn't feel safe with anything over a 125.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

It'd probably be better to wait and get it (the 1/0) when you have the money. However, if you do use 4 gauge, then get no bigger than a 125 amp fuse.

That's not safe because you exceed the wire limit fuse. YOu might start a fire hazard. 100 amp fuse would be perfect fine. You said it too expensive for you honda. I don't think so.

No, not a good idea. The whole point of fusing the main power lead is so that the fuse pops in the event on a catastrophic failure (short) and will stop the current before the wire gets to the point of catching fire. I wouldn't go higher than 150a
