qu1cks1lver56
so my boy just called me and said that his sony "1000" watt 2 channel keeps overheating on him, its not bridged, running 4 ohms per channel. they hooked up a fan on a relay and he said that helped, but still after about a song and a half it gets hot enough to shut itself off. any ideas? he said he opened it up and looked around and nothing looks burnt or out of the ordinary inside it. BHSskaterBHS
Had a Sony head unit that would over heat pushing one 5x7... Seems like Sony's have a tendency to overheat... Jville140db
maybe multiple fans but that is only a temp fix ya know. Push pull across the heat sinks maybe that would help.
