white4d96
Honestly I have only heard the Type R's and some Kicker products thus far. I am just running off of specs at the moment, hence my asking for input. Anyone know if I can get those Soundstreams in a dual-4? I would like to run a final 1-ohm load between two drivers. I have also read something about Alpine subs having spider issues when they are overpowered. Is there any truth to this? And lastly, I have been told that Kicker products can be underrated power-wise. Does this apply to drivers as well? Quote Too many projects, too little time... I have been putting about 900 rms on mine for some time now, and mine are rated at 750rms, so you could probably put about 800rms or so on them and they would handle it no problem. And I couldnt find a dual 4 ohm version for the Soundstream.... I did however find a Dual 1 ohms version, but I also found that they recomend a 1.7 cubic foot per sub so I dont know if you would have to change your box for that. Here is the site http://www.lightav.com/car/soundstream/subs2006.html You have to scroll down a bit, for the specs Quote ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
