Boon Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 Chokes are used to block high frequencies. But putting them on the output of an amp is VERY inefficient. That's why you rarely see crossovers (which use chokes) rated at more than ~100wrms. Do the filtering at line level. No point amplifying everything then trying to cut it out aftwerwards.
