Some Noise.

well my speakers make a lot of noise

but when i have my ipod on my fm transmitter. i have engine noise when i'm over 1/4 throttle. going through all my speakers.

doesn't happen on CD or other radio stations. just when i have the fm transmitter.

Any ideas how to fix it?

i plan on getting a new headunit in the future so i'll have direct connection for my ipod so that will fix it of course.

just need idea's to stop this untill i can get funds for new HU.

would of gotten it done tonight, but have to work tomorrow morning so don't want to stay up to late.

all fm transmitters, no matter how good they are put out a decent signal at best.....i had one that was 150 bucks or something and i still had engine noise......direct is the way to go

Direct connect will get rid of it. Your FM transmitter is doing it. Now if you get noise with your ipod in direct connect, you'll need a ground loop isolator for your ipod to your radio.

ah okay,

i decided to wait on getting new mids/high and an amp for those. i'ma get me a nice touch screen double din.

just gotta work a shitload to save up ha.
