reading on it it seems to be a pretty solid sub, although the recomended amp specs are going to be hard to match if you want to push upwards in the 1000w range at 4 ohms. if you get the dual 4 ohm you could easily push 5-1kw to it.

It don't look like to bad of a sub to me. The only thing i dont like is the basket, the basket doenst have enough ventilation for the cone to push air out.

if your refering to ventilation for heat build up it has a vented motor structure to cool it.
