Chris Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 I've been lookin into possibly doing a full car dynamat extreme project to try and stop the annoying rattles all over my car, but especially from the trunk. I was wondering what opinions anyone had about the advantages from doing this & maybe knew where I could pick up some deals on this stuff. How much does it really help/make a difference? Is it worth the money or is there something out there for less $ with the same equivalence in sound deadening? 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR.
sean 371 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 It helps a lot! Makes the sound soo much cleaner and fuller. Just don't buy dynamat haha. eDead can be had pretty cheap on eBay. Second Skin is another good company. FatMat, Raammat, and Stinger Roadkill are a few others. I might go that route, I seriously have no cash left. 703autosport Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 Im about to install the rest of my 200sq ft of fatmat, just doing the trunk made a big differance... Dynamat is way overpriced. 100sq ft of Fatmat= $130 shipped 34sq ft of Dynamat= about $200
