BOX and CLEAN power and signal do wonders.

why isnt DC on the sub list?

Yeah I would do a single 15 sub and port forward atleast that is what works for me but I use a single dc 18.

Heh... clean signal in but clip that bastard on the way out :)If you know what you're doing you can gain quite a bit by nudging it a bit into square territory ;)

Its not just about his box design, some truck cars are hard to get loud.. Depending how he had the box setup aswell. In my neon I cant have subs up port back, subs back port back and be loud. I have always had to do subs and port both facing into the cabin and have hardly broke the 140 mark. But alot of that has to do with the car itself.

Car - 99 Neon Sport

Batt - 1 Redtop up front On 200A Excessive Amperage alt

Sub - 2 12" Kicker L7's in ~2 cuft @ 36hz each on a Xtant X1001 @ 1 ohm

Front Highs/Mids - JVC CS-FS6 and Infinity 6022i on Xtant A2002

Rear Highs/Mids - None

HU - Pioneer DEH-P8600MP

1/0 wire ran thru entire car aswell as big3

DB - 144.5 @ Dash.

yea out of the subs you mentioned the Mayhem should have easily got you over 140.

i had a mayhem 15 on a saz3000d at 2 ohms and was hitting 145+

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
