kfx450r Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 lots of batteries can make up for having a stock alt and seem fine but that doesnt mean you shouldnt get a bigger alt..it will do nothing but help and is a great investment. Quote

Having a stock alt means you will need more battery if your system will do the power you say it will. At some point your system will be drawing a good portion of power from the batteries because the alt cant put out 200++ amps. 1 Battery may work for a while but 2 will be better and then add a better alt.
