Hey Beanz, I think that would only be a big thing IF the manufacturer for his subs recommended ported enclosures, and a certain, optimum tuning frequency. But since they don't recommend ported enclosures for his subs at all, I'd say > go back to sealed.

PS, But hey BHS, tell me the cubic footage (or even dimensions) of your enclosure, and size of your port(s), and I can tell you what its tuned to.

well one big thing is what frequency is your box tuned at?

yeah i know but still it could be the reason why it dont sound loud.All we know is that he just put a hole in his box and you know with just a hole its not gonna get loud.

That's why they don't deliver.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
