Torres Posted August 7, 2009 Report Share Posted August 7, 2009 Why would you use more port area?just wonderinggeneral rule of thumb is 12-16 sq inches of port, and 56 sq inches for 5 cubes would be 11.2. lil on the small side, tho it may not make a difference. if it were me tho i'd put more port area to it. I can crack one out for the you, Bitch of all bitches that's 2 for sub foward port up, so i'd lean towards that.i'd say that you wont be able to hear the speakers much at all. 1, they have bass blowin over them, and 2, they're gonna be mostly if not completely blocked by the box. so i'd relocate those somewhere/somehow dimensions of work space to make the enclosure?
