Ok lets try this again. I'm building another T shaped console box very similar to the last one but stronger!!!

Ok started a new build because I'm just not happy with my current box. I experimented with building bigger than AQ reccomended. It kills the lows but is kinda sloppy sounding so I'm going back down to 4 cubes for my hdc3 15. The new box is gonna basically a wedge across the entire back of the cab with a custom center console attached to it so that it ends up being kinda T-shaped. Its hard to explain but you can see it in the pics.

Got the foundation cut out.

Got carried away and forgot to take pics of some of the progress but here it is with the back one side and the sub baffle attached.

Got the port in, kinda hard to see but its off to the left. Did a little painting for shits and giggles.

tablet in lieu of deck

blue tooth interconnect to soundstream eq (for volume control and bass control)

4 Alpine type r 10's

6 cubes net, 80sqin's port, tuned to 33hz

2 brutus brx5000.5's

2 pairs 3" polk audio for a pillars

4 pairs polk audio 6.5 comps

1 pair 8" polk audio for mids

2 xspower d3400 batteries

.....learning alot from meade and his circle of some of the baddest installers ive seen- thanks guys, for not being so cocky and posting the way it should be done!

P.S. Thanks Steve....for the demo!!!! loud as fauk!

From front to back is 36 inches and it is 58 inches wide. I'm gonna have to take the seats out to get it in there I'm just worried about scuffing it up wrestling it in.

damn.....wrap it in a blanket, and go slow! maybe have that pretty girl in the football pads help ya out, probably wont get much done though......so so so pretty :wub:

When I took my fiberglass T out, I had to lif the back up till it touched the headliner, then pulled sideways slowly. Once I got the passenger side out the door, I pulled the bottom (front of the T) out and from there it was pretty easy. It took three people. You should be able to do what I did, but in reverse.

My T ended up being around 60 or 62 inches wide and about 48 or so inches from front to back.

BTW, it looks really good. Are you just gonna put one sub?

I hear you. I'm going to put my port at the front of my T. I haven't finalized anything yet, but I'm currently thinking about using a triangle shape at the back right in the center to redirect air from the two subs (yes, 2) towards the port.
