DanielSavage Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 Something along the lines of: Sundown E8 DD 1508 (4 ohm dvc) Any quality 8" that's in the 200 watts rms @ 4 / 400 watts rms @ 2 neighborhood. Must be in nice condition cosmetically and 100% functional. What'cha got? Quote
LT.Smoke Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 Your best bet would be to just purchase a brand new dd 1508 u can get them for like 200 bucks and they will eat a good chunk of power daily. Forevrbumpn Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 I thought the 1508 was like $120? Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

DanielSavage Posted August 8, 2009 Author Report Posted August 8, 2009 (edited) I hear different people quoting different prices for the DD 1508's. It ranges anywhere from $120 to $200, but I think the 4 ohm DVC model is somewhere around $170. What I really want is a Sundown E8, and I nearly got one yesterday, but I was an hour or so too late. I'm looking for a used sub, because I'm throwing a little something together with the equipment I have lying around and don't want to spend too much cash. I have a Clarion flip out, 4x RF T152S, 2x Kenwoof KFC plates, 3 crappy Profile amps and plenty of wiring just collecting dust. So, buying a nice little sub and throwing some of this stuff together for the time being seems like a pretty good idea. I'm going to do a pretty big build in my current vehicle at the beginning of 2010, but I'm tired of the stock sound that's in there right now... Edited August 8, 2009 by DanielSavage Quote
DanielSavage Posted August 10, 2009 Author Report Posted August 10, 2009 So, noone on this forum has a decent 8" sub they can part with? Quote
