Fi Bl vs Fi Q

So I plan on probably getting an FI, and Im wondering what is the difference between the BL and the Q? I notice they are both 1000RMS, but BL is more expensive. If someone could tell me, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

BL is more spl oriented and Q is more SQL oriented. Also the BL has been updated.

SPL = Sound Pressure Level...

SQ = Sound Quality

Simpler terms, an spl sub will hit most likely with more authority

Don't get me wrong you can get either sub to sound great. The decision is totally up to you, the bl with the right options will handle more wattage easier.

There are people that dont like the SQ from the BL (James for example) and prefer the SQ from the Q more (which is what it is intended for anyways) Personally, I dont have an exact "EAR" to tell the difference, but if your going to be throwing 1000+RMS watts to the driver, personally I would get the BL. I had 2 BL's each getting about ~1250rms watts each, and they fu*king slammed very hard.

I switched from Havocs to BLs and don't mind the sound quality difference for the added SPL.

And for those who don't know, Havocs are basically fully loaded Qs.
