Well I have a friend whose cousin built him box thats honestly his entire trunk for only 90 bucks. So I can find someone who will build me a box cheap. (They have the nails all that). And DD, I have never heard of them, could I get a website please?

Yeah those DC's are tanks and have heard nothing but good things. I was looking at the FI BL 15 inch fully loaded and thats not a bad price at all? Anyone know how hard that would slam? And the price budget I'm on now (when I get my car that is) would roughly be a 1000 dollars. Plan on spending 300-450 on Sub/Box. I have a the rockford fosgate 1000bd amp. Than I plan on getting Type S or Type R Component speakers, and a JVC headunit.

Yeah my buddies cousin builds custom boxes so that wouldn't be a problem.

Ok guys just wondering (yes I know I've posted something like this before) but I'm just curious, for around the price of 200-300 dollars, what in your opinion is the best sub to get? I've been looking Dc Lvl 4 Fi BL and the Elemental Designs 13av.2. I know about all those mainstream subs but those are to expensive for what they give you. Can anyone notify me on some good upcoming sub companies that know how to make their subs slam! Oh I will be powering the sub with a Rockford Fosgate 1000bd amp.

So I plan on probably getting an FI, and Im wondering what is the difference between the BL and the Q? I notice they are both 1000RMS, but BL is more expensive. If someone could tell me, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Its because people get used to the sound of their system and it doesn't feel as loud as it did were you first got it. Thats people upgrade because you start getting used to a system after riding in it every day for 6 months straight.

Yeah, I've heard bose and someone tried telling me there moms Monte Carlo stock system bumped, I listend, it didnt.

Well since were former Mazda buyers, we might get a 1000 dollars back which would be the only way I would get a aftermarket system. See if we get the bose, its part of the payment so we can pay it off over 5 years where if I get the aftermarket stuff, you need it right than. The speakers I was planning on getting were 4 alpine type s component with the the tweeters and crossovers, and my cousin has two kicker 6x9 he never uses and would sell them to me for 20 bucks or so. If I were to do this, the cost would be 500 or so bucks for the just the speakers and would probably get the subs later on. But I'm just curious if the alpines would sound better, from videos Ive seen, they do but thats a video. And I also don't know if a Kenwood headunit could power all of those speakers...

Ok so now its pretty much decided that I'm getting a Mazda 3. Well heres the thing, instead of getting an upgraded stock system, I was going to take the 1500 dollars or so and use that for my aftermarket system, well I don't know if my family can make the second payment. Were planning on putting a 2000 dollar downpayment towards the car and stuff but we don't know we an extra 1500 dollars right than to buy the system. Anyways, the upgraded stock system is the Bose system with 10 speakers maximum output 242 watts. Now from what I hear Bose usually sounds pretty nice from what I hear, but I keep reading reviews and this and that about the Bose scam and how the speakers suck. Is this true, and are Bose speakers really just all mids? If I were to actually get an aftermarket system, It would take a year or two to finally get all the pieces for my final system which the subs and amp would be last... I just want to know if you guys know anything about the bose scam and what you would all do.

Be honest, I'm still leaning towards the Mazda 3 or the Toyota Corolla S. The Fusion is coming into the picture. I just can't convince myself to buy a car from a company that has already announced bankruptcy. Be honest I wanted the Mitsubishi Lancer at first, but found out the reports were garbage on it. I finally had to convince myself not to get it which is why I'm in the situation haha.

If i would get any american car, it would be the Ford Focus or Fusion. Chrysler and GM won't be around much longer, the new car in the making by GM is already being yelled at because its ugly but *fuel efficient* which means nobody will buy. I take that back, Chrysler could make it, I would never buy a GM right now though because once there gone, its gonna hella tough to find parts for a company that no longer exists. Heck I'm going to go look at the chargers right now.
