ISO Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Most likely he is running the amp at the wrong impedence or he is not getting enough voltage to the amp from the cars charging system. Its a 2 ohm amplifier and if the voltage from the car gets close to 10 volts it will shut down. Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. Beanz Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 he could be running it a t like 0.5 ohms if the has the 2 ohm speakers. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
ISO Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Without enough info I'm going to say check your ground wire from the amp, check the impedance load from the subs. Make sure your ground is going straight to the sheet metal of the vehicle, no paint under,make sure its not hooked to a seat belt bolt. Go to the sheet metal strip the paint off, drill a hole and use a good quality screw and a lock nut. If you find out your at .5 ohm impedance with your subs get that changed quick.
