kickerfanatic Posted August 14, 2009 Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 o.k my new box was done after i decidec to go all out and build a wall in my daily driver.. here are some pics of the new box with 4 15'' l7's. 9 cubes of box.. slot ported thru the back seat.. i need help and advice on how to build and properly port a wall for my 4 15'' l7 subs... any and all advice is welcome... here are the pics of my trunk... Quote 4 15'' kicker L7 subs ( only 2 being used right now ) 1 kicker zx2500.1 ( another soon 2 come ) box is 9.5 cubic feet slot portd thur the back seat 1 kicker zx650.4 amp powering 4 10'' ev dl10x mids ( rear deck ) 1 kicker zx350.4 power 4 8'' beyma 8mi100 mid/highs ( 1 on each door ) 2 runs of zero gauge wire ( about 60 feet total. ) big 3 done in zero gauge kicker wire 3 runs of 4 gauge for voice amps and eq' and crossover 2 kinetik hc1800 batteries in the trunk and 1 optima yellow top under the hood 260 amp irragi high output alternator ( soon to be 2 alt's ) alpine cda 9856 ipod headunit kicker kx3 3 way crossover & a old school alpine 3342 digital 11 band sound field processor eq. kickerfanatic Posted August 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 what kind of amps/batts you runnin with those? im puttin 4 15L7s in my new truck..once i get it. ha sure.. amps are 2 kicker zx2500.1's.. 1 amp for each pair of subs.. i am running 2 kinetik hc1400 batts but will be switching to 2 hc2400's very soon.. my alternator is a iraggi dominator series 240 amp alt.. all zero gauge wire.. and an optima yellow top under the hood... kickerfanatic Posted August 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 Nice box, but isnt 9cubes a bit small for 4 15's? yes very small.. i had 2 15's only in 9 cubes but i figured i would try to see if i can gain more cone area..rember i am using my trunk. but yeah im building a wall that will be 14 cubes when completed.. hope to get a bug difference in the sound.. maybe some hair tricks.. :hairtrick: dont no why but my goal is to break my front windshield.. I still run L7's but thats just til I find a new job and can afford something better. I see your running the same older model as I am, have you had any issues with them?
