Vista Installed!

I'm curious to know what your Windows Experience Index is. I only have a 3.2 for gaming graphisc because I went with a base graphics card (I'm not into gaming) but my processor, RAM, and data transfer is between 5.1-5.8 which is supposed to be a pretty good score.

5.9 processor

5.2 memory

5.9 graphics

5.9 gaming graphics

primary hard disk 5.9

i was dissapointed until i saw the 5.9 is the highest possible score right now.....so uhh not to shabby

Finally someone taking Vistas side. I've been saying since day one, that all the people that hate on vista either: A. Haven't tried it. B. Don't know how to use a computer. or C. Don't have the machine to back it up. Which "C" isn't completely Vistas fault. And what i mean by don't know how to use a computer is that they don't search for the proper drivers to make things work, but instead sit there with their thumbs up there ass expecting it to "just work" Thank you Steve for the backup on this issue.

Sorry for the rant, but it really bugs me when people talk shit about the new hot thing out, when they have no personal experience, "my homeboy said", or just don't know WTF they are doing.

To all the aforementioned people misusing vista/hating on it, It\'s because...

to tell ya the truth bibby, unless you have some real obsolete equipment, the drivers arent really much of an issue. What didnt auto update was pretty easy to update myself. I think i had to reinstall my HP bluetooth printer.....took 5 minutes to find the vista driver. Chances are if the company is still in business, you can find the vista driver you need on any of their sites. Of course like you said, you need a decent computer to run it.

Exactly. I had like 3 programs that would not work, so i just searched google, and found the drivers. Once I installed those, it was all GTG.

As for now, the nVidia cards are top, especially the 8800GTX. But, once the R600 is out by ATI, it'll dominate the nVidia cards (Possibly even in SLI mode). But the bad part of the R600 is it takes up 230watts.

ya? well once the R600 comes out then Nvidia will come out with the 9900GTX and will dominate the ATI card AGAIN. What you think of them apples? lol just playin with ya. My computer requires a 1000w power supply to use 2 of my cards. I could probably grow some "Petunia's" in my closet for cheaper then it takes to run my computer ;)
