From the diagram I looked up your car has two accessory wires, are both of them tapped into? Thats my only guess, I dont have very much experience installing alarms in american cars. Who did the install?

Second accessory needs to be hooked up or vice versa first accessory needs to be hooked up. Just take it back and tell them "i think you have my accessory wires hooked up incorrectly, my blower doesn't come on when the remote start is engaged... but it does when I put the key in"... or just play dumb and make them figure out why it doesn't come on :)

Is any dash lights(SES or security) staying on from the remote start? I can't remember if the grand marquis need both hooked up to keep it from triggered a light... I know the taurus does.
