I was all excited, even tho it was an old xbox, just because I wanted to play halo 2 online. So I get it home and I plug it in put halo in and start it up. Goes through the little flubber screen where it makes noise.... then it gets to the XBOX screen and freezes, then if you let it sit on that screen for about 5 mins it goes to the clock, then freezes again. I'd say about every 5 minutes it unlocks and you can go through the menu's for about 10 seconds before it freezes again. Any clue on wtf is going on? And it didnt get hot that quick, I had it apart last night and thats the first thing I checked for was heat, and I could touch the heatsink after about 5 minutes of running. I was hoping just to buy it online and get the code in email but thats too complicated for microsoft to do or something...
