1992Chevy K1500
Has anyone ever heard of Power Acoustik? I haven't heard too much so I wondering how good their products were. I was thinking of getting this amp: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14613_...LFA1-2000D.html and was wondering if it did its rating. I plan on using 2 Crunch 12" DVC 4-ohm subs wired to 1 ohm so each sub would see 600 RMS (their RMS rating). 1030tooled
You should look into getting the crunch amps. To answer your ? For the dollar amount It's a great amp. 1992Chevy K1500
I was originally looking at those. I was looking at the Crunch GPV2000.1, but according to the site it only does 1000W RMS x 1 @ 1-ohm. I reckon i'll go with the Crunch. One more question, are Crunch amps underrated? 1030tooled
Not sure, but what luck I have had with power acoustik, the crunch has got to be better. I have had 3 power acoustik amps and all three had to be returned. Gregggg
I hear from a lot of people that Power Acoustik amps aren't that good, some amps you can just tell like this ONE, it has a 40amp fuse and does 200w x 4 @ 4ohms.... VistaV6
I haven't ever heard anything good about them, but have heard people dissing them about sucking. Well I've never heard anything about them. And Gregggg, that's funny and disturbing at the same time. SQMonte
just remember, you get what you pay for. That's not always true. I bought a rotary buffer from Harbor Freight for $30 (the "good one's" are $150 or better) and I turned a Mercedes Benz from a piece of shit to looking like it's got a brand new paint job with my $30 tool that everybody shitted on me for buying.I owned a Power Acoustik Gothic series amp back in early 2000 and it did me well. I had it running a pair of 12's and it had my shit hitting hard enough to be heard from a block or two away and it rattled the pictures in my upstairs apartment at the time. I doubt it did rated power, but it got the job done and that's really what matter, right?
