How About Facing The Subs Up?

today im going to pick up my 2 12 inch type r's...just so i can get sum bump out of em, they're gonna b put in a sealed box... wat i wanna do over the days(or weeks...dont kno how long it'll take) is build a box...the only ideas that i have is

1) face them to the bak (i like how subs sound that way...but is it possible to put a port at the 'ass' of the subs instead of the front and it still sound good?)

2) face them up with the port hole facing the cabin...(i have a sedan...i have a trunk. will the subs sound different if i do them up this way?? is there a bad or good sound difference, or just a personal preference??) thanks in advance!

If you post your vehicle type, it would be easier to help you.

Also, don't bother building a sealed box for those subs unless you are short on space. A decent ported box will outperform a sealed box any day once inside the vehicle.

yea if you got the room ported is the way to go.

i understand that...but im sayin the sealed is just until i build the box...(my first build..want it to b right) oh and i have a 97 toyota camry...
