NotoriouslyLoud Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Do you guys ever worry about your hearing? I mean i always say that when people ask "that's a loud stereo but you will be deaf in a couple of years" my rebuttal is always yeah well hearing aids will be better by then, but in the back of my head i am always wondering if that's not the cause, what the hell would i do if i went deaf... just kind of thinking aloud here, but was wondering if anybody else ever has had that thought. http://www.notoriouslyloudmafia.com http://www.teamwolfpackaudio.com

civichatch Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 My hearing already isnt great. Ive listened to loud music forever. I have really bad ringing in my ears at night and i have to sleep with a fan on to overpower the ringing. Ive gone to a doctor for it and she said just stop listening to loud music and it wont progress and get worse. Guest Nismofreak Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I wil have some ear muffs in my car for emergencies but when my friends get it, they gotta get used to all the bass
meade916 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 21 years and hardly anything smaller than a 15 for 15 of those years.......always the loudest on my BLVD, and no hearing loss that i can tell. Maybe i should have it tested though. My closest call with hearing loss came from a Crue concert last year though......my ears rang for a few days and i litterally was numb for most of the day after the show. Concerts with CONTINUOUS screaming guitars at 125-130db hurt WAYY more than bass at 156+ for a 30 second "fix" or two or 10 at a show IMO. If that 156 was continuous for 2 hours like a concert it may be different though. All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
