inm
So, you know how Chevy Suburbans and Blazer have a 1 1/2 DIN size headunit? Well, where can I get a mounting bracket so there's no gap around a headunit when I get it? I plan on getting a single DIN headunit, and eventually a 1/2 DIN equalizer or something, but until I get the 1/2 DIN, I don't want a gap.. I hope you guys know what I'm talking about... If you're talking about what I think you are, Crutchfield carries them, as well as any decent car audio shop. I dunno where the cheapest place for them is though. EDIT: Is this what you're referring to? This is what is in my dad's truck, and I'm pretty sure that all fullsize models share pretty much the same dashboard. (In my admittedly cursory search) I can't find one that allows you to put an EQ in however. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive. 2002 Buick Park Avenue DC Level 4 M2 12 D2 Car Audio Bargain 1600.1 Eclipse CD3200 ~2 cubes @ 34 hz. inm
I can't tell if thats what I need. I know, the EQ won't be going in a bracket. With the bracket, it will be something like this: And then once I get the EQ, the bracket will be removed. i can't find a pic of what I mean, but my cousin can help me when I need that, he did it in his Denali. The headunit is on top, with an EQ directly under it. I know later on the radio became larger, so the bracket changed. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
