Triple 10" t-line prototype- Dont laugh!

I haven't been working a whole lot, work has been slow. I'am using my old sub box for my home audio set up at the time, so I needed some boom!

So sick and tired of only having 300hz HP component set, I decided to do a triple 10" tline- Was going to be a dual 10" but realized the port area was a little larger than expected, so screw it, 3rd one goes in, and the bass tightened up a little more, got louder, and I'am running at 6.2ohms.. lol

So now that i have about 375rms on my subs, I have been very impressed, and getting stocked about doing 8 of these 10s in 4 tline boxes, all CRX style in the back of my truck

When I first installed the subs, I really didn't care to much, I was like "Cool, got some beats back" After realizing I only had 2 screws mounted in each woofer, the woofers started popping out of the box, and rattling everywhere about yesterday afternoon.

So went with all 8 screws, mounted, and tightened down, and damn, is it possible I gained that much air pressure just by securing the woofers a lot more secure?

NOW, I actually have to turn the gain down, and bass is in the neg -3/-4 area

Since I don't work tomorrow, I plan on getting a video. or something

So figure this is 375rms, I plan on running 1- SAZ1000Ds per 4 subs

So I plan to get a lot louder when I actually get some money, but for right now, this was just a prototype to see how these subs sounded in a tline, and I am very happy with them

Quarterwave is 38hz, next tlines will be closer to 35hz, closer to the subs Fs

Dont laugh, I was desperate for beat, and the box cost me $25 total to build haha

10g from the amp, and 14 gauge from sub to sub, the wire is twisted because I had it in another box twisted together with the drill

Wahts up bro? been kinda curious about the t-line enclosures - what do you think of it? and as far as tuning and roll-off, where you at? I totally understand on the "whatever you have to get it together when funds are low" thing. still running all four 12's with a cheezedick kenwood "800"watt amp. (only getting 100rms to each sub) But as long as there is bass behind me, all cool.

P.S. And my bright ass orange 10/3 extension cord works great:)

haha.. funny I never noticed the extension cord, but Hey, I have done that before. In my SPL build about 3 years ago, I used 10gauge 240v laundry dryer power wire, but I guess that was almost overkill for 1800w/rms

I have literally built well over 100 tlines in my days, I had 150 speaker box designs documented over a 4 year period when I worked at the speaker shop, about 100 were tlines, and forms of quarter wave boxes from bandpass, horn, tline, spl and sq designs, and since then whatever I have built at Nor Cal Customs when I worked there, Extreme Audio when it was open in 03', and whatever else I have built
