1992Chevy K1500 Posted August 27, 2009 Author Report Posted August 27, 2009 (edited) hey man, go to ebay and check out (RE SX 15) it will take 1200 watts daily and hits the lows hard... its a great woffer i have 2. i think they are 230-240 though... More like 330 or 340. Course the seller's claiming their new. And thanks but no thanks on the MTX's, i want to push 1k daily on 1 15", not 2. Thanks for the offer though. EDIT: Does the Crunch GPV2000.1 have a good, clean output? I want some clean power, but I'm not sure about them. I have the 700.2 and it runs really good and is very reliable for it's cost. EDIT: Please don't laugh, but I would PM Rusty, right? Just want to make sure. Basshead08 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 (edited) Look into auqiopipe and audioque amps. I have heard good things about the audiopipe monoblocks and my AQ1200 is rock solid. Trust me if you skimp on you're equipment now I promise you'll regret it later. Just save up a little longer and get some quality product... Personal experience talking. edit: Yes pm Rusty. 1992Chevy K1500 Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 Yeah. I'm thinking audioque because they are cheap and I've heard good stuff about them. Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking either the Lanzar of the Kicker right now because I've bought from one company and heard good things about the other. siucsaluki11 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 I was thinking something similar about the SPL sub. I wasn't sure because that's the first I've ever heard of them.I know the DC's are rated conservatively(sp?) so that's why I was wondering. I'm somewhat willing to save the money and buy a lvl 4, but I would be a while without beat. What's the cheapest 15" I can get that will take 1kW daily and be reliable? keepinitloud Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Here is a certified beast that won't be beat for these dollars...http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=14028 also, look at the Audiopipe EyeCandy subs. They are conservatively rated for 1kw RMS and are very efficient. they stole there look from planet audio big bang subwoofers Quote 06 chrysler 300C Hemi one mmatts dreadnaut 15 powered by a planet audio vx 2200d fosgate p200 running planet audio 8" midbass drivers and super compression tweeters stock battery and a stinger spv44 Irragi 300 amp alternator big 3 1/0 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/55075-system-in-my-300c/page__view__findpost__p__763656__fromsearch__1
keepinitloud Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 I don't recall in that post who said the soundsteam sub was a throwaway sub like those others but unless he has heard one in action they are definatetly not a throwaway sub they get very loud and low Quote 06 chrysler 300C Hemi one mmatts dreadnaut 15 powered by a planet audio vx 2200d fosgate p200 running planet audio 8" midbass drivers and super compression tweeters stock battery and a stinger spv44 Irragi 300 amp alternator big 3 1/0 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/55075-system-in-my-300c/page__view__findpost__p__763656__fromsearch__1
1992Chevy K1500 Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 I think he meant they can't be reconed. But I'm not sure. keepinitloud Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 I think he meant they can't be reconed. But I'm not sure. I would have to ask my buddy he's a soundstream dealer but I believe they do recones on them or replace them if recone is not possible. your truck is a single cab. you plan on doing a port through? not liking the subs behind the seats?
