port problems

Recommended Posts

On hatch-backs and SUV's, you want a CRX-type box(named after the Honda CRX, which does best this way), which is subs up and port back. It's got to do with quarter waves hitting your head at the same time.

I suggest some research.

My latest project; 87 Accord Hatchback!... Only got my 6 1/2's in it right now... I'm working on shining my engine to show quality right now, then I'll put it in. System will come around the 1st.

You know that's the "CRX Box" from about 5-6 years ago right? Now CRXs are subs forward port back...

I seen that on termpro last night, acually. The CRX box will always be sub up port back IMO, but I guess for SPL competitions, you want it sub forward port back.
