dmanson Posted August 31, 2009 Report Posted August 31, 2009 Well so far i have a Kinetik 2000 upfront and 800 in the back. I'll be installing my dc30001 amp some time this week. My buddy has a few near brand new optima yellowtops that he'll give me and i was thinking about putting the optima underhood and putting the kinetik 2000 in the back next to the DC30001 amp and selling the HC800 ..... i know the kinetik 800 has the same CCAs as the optima but the optima has only 16 more AH over the kinetik. The batteries would be charged by a DC 260 alt w/MLA module. so what do you guys think about me putting the 2000 in the back and optima underhood? 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative.
