RF T20001bd question

So iam probably going to get a fosgate amp but there is two channels on the amp** right ?? so its only 1000 watts per channel ? can somebody explain Bd monoblock to me please... also any suggestions for a sub(s) to pair with it

Its a Mono block as in terms of of 1

Mono=1

Stereo=2+

the amp has 2 sets of out puts (2+ and 2-)'s to make wiring DVC

There is only 1 channel though

there are two outputs yes but they are wired together internally. so bassically if you have 2 2ohm speakers wired to them the amp will see a one ohm load. if you have 2 4ohm itll be 2 ohm and so forth.

wouldn't 2 2ohm subs be .5 ohm load and 2 4ohm subs be 1 ohm ?

for dvc if you wired them that certain way yes but if you had svc subs then no

If your using 2 subs

Dual 2's parallel/parallel .5 ohm series/parallel 2 ohm and series 8 ohm

Dual 4's parallel/parallel 1 ohm series/parallel 4 ohm

I've owned two of them and @ 2 ohms they have just a little less power than my T30001 @ 2 ohms. But @ 1ohm it is way different. The T20001's have just as much power @ 2 ohm as they do @ 1 ohm
