I need some suggestions
Beanz Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 yeah you can and its easy just unscrew the screws on the box and get some wire and connecet + with + and - with - and the run it to the terminals and you ahve a final 2 ohm load That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
Guest Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 yes you can wire it to 2 ohms. do what Beanz said and prove that dumbass lady wrong.
harrisonG Posted September 6, 2009 Author Report Posted September 6, 2009 damn im pissed i told her it would work and she was like "you can only wire a dvc 4 ohm sub at 4 ohms" i said no im positive that you can wire it at 2 i can show you the diagram, but she assured me i couldnt. i knew the type r's had to be louder then what this was putting out even on the first day 2000 Nissan Xterra -Infinity 6020cs components -Infinity 692.7 6x9s -DC LVL 4 12 -AQ1200 -Pioneer DEHP860MP H/U -4 channel amp for mids and highs??? LordArcane Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 really prove her wrong, and tell her she stupid cuz 1. ok dvc 4ohm sub would only be wired at 4ohm is only ONE voice coil was hooked up.... 2. heres some pics of how you can hook up 1 dvc 4ohm sub, so ya i'd go back and bitch and prolly i would never go there again after since it sounds like they have no clue what they doing
bassboombottom Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Well, unless Alpine makes that in single 4, then she doesn't know shit about the Type R. 8v fury said:
Guest Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 video tape her of you showing the 12volt diagram to her and use their dmm (or your own if they dont have one......) after you wired it to 2 ohms
Beanz Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Well, unless Alpine makes that in single 4, then she doesn't know shit about the Type R. NOPE only DVC and your options are 4 or 2 ohms checked. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.
