dirtboi22 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 ok, so i have 2 dual 2ohm subs(re sx 15's) 1000rms each. if i wire them in series/parallel i will get a 2ohm load. what im asking is will my subs take 1000rms each or 500 each when they are wired like this? Quote
Guest Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 a 1000w amp will give each sub 500w Quote
zfrerichs Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 (edited) 1000 each sub is what you need Edited September 8, 2009 by zfrerichs Quote Roseville, CA

dirtboi22 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Report Posted September 8, 2009 ok so the audiopipe does about 2000 maybe a lil less at 2ohm, which is exactly what i need.. Quote
Team_DC-Derrick Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 depends, is it bridged at 2 ohms or are you running 2 ohms per channel, its rated at 3000 rms bridged at 2 ohms Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... dirtboi22 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Report Posted September 8, 2009 Im wiring both (dual 2ohm woofers) to be 2ohm each(parallel/series combo), so each sub is running on one ohm. i was unsure if they would take 500rms each or if they would take 1000rms. (RE SX 15 D2 1000rms) but they told me it would be 1000rms. and since the audiopipe does 3000rms bridged at 2ohm. each sub will be getting around 1500rms correct? Quote
Team_DC-Derrick Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 yeah if your running 1 ohm per channel, its about 1500 rms on good electrical Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall.......
