Jared420 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 I Have been running my system the same way since i've gotten my new amp a couple months ago. Simple setup, Aq 1200 amp 4 gauge wiring no big 3 or batteries or HO alts. I ran it for over 2 months and it has been fine then the other day, I blew my fuse up by the battery. The AQ amp has 3 40a fuses and up front i thought i had an 80A agu fuse, turns out it was only a 60 and I had a few extra 60s. I replaced it when i got home and today, which is about 3 days later I just blew another one. I replaced it again and its been workin for a couple hours but I am wondering why they are all of a sudden blowing like this. Beanz Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 DO you have a ANL fuse or thsoe little glass fuses?that and as stated before your amp if drawing more current then your old amp so you reguire a bigger fuse upfront.Get a ANL fuse thats like 120 amp. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

It got a bit louder and lower. not too much but easily noticable to me. Making the jump from a 60a agu to a 120 anl even helped me out.
