how much rms can you run with stock electrical

title basicly explains everything. Just kinda curious whats the most you guys ran on stock electrical.

Setup:

Headunit: 7" indash screen

Sub: fi bl 12

Amp: Audioque 1200D

Box Ported tuned to 34hz

Big 3 done in 1/0 gauge

depends on the vehicle, but I would say 1000wrms safely.

* Head Unit: Kenwood KDC-MP732

* iPod Interface: KCA-iP500

* Front Stage: Rockford Fosgate Power T1652-S

depends on the vehicle, but I would say 1000wrms safely.

X2. Over 1000 RMS you'll probably have a lot of voltage drop and won't be getting the full 1000 anyways.

It will be different for every cars electrical system, because different cars have differents batterys and alternators.

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P4050UB

Yea i got a v-8 5.7L think i would be alright runnin rockford fosgate power 1500 to a bl 12 with stock electerical until i would add a yellow top battery

You should be fine. If you can upgrade to The Big 3.

All of what everybody is saying is true, however you would be surprised how even in larger vehicles the factory puts alts in that barely have very much extra power on hand, I.E. a car with a 120 amp alt, may already have 80-90 amps already dedicated to stock accesories, but some cars have extra leeway than others.

This is a great question. Rob has helped me with this....But yes, for the most part, 1k watts is the general limit. But if you can afford it, get a DC alt, youll have voltage GAIN :ph34r: .
