alphasig293 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 In Va. all you have to do is take the written test to get your learners permit, then you have to ride with an experinced rider for 30 days, then you have to take the road test at DMV and thats it. I got my learners and just rode by myself for 30 days lol. I know that the community college here gives classes and you get certified at the VIR track. Posted September 11, 2009 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 In Kansas you take a motorcycle class for 3 days( 15 hours) they provide the bikes (250's) and on the third day you get your actual license. Cost is about $175. Look up MMTC midwest motorcycle training center. They are all pretty much the same.Its all parking lot practice with cones and stops and goes. Pretty easy! Good luck! I want to, I have always wanted to ride a motorcycle, but the thing is, Iam 34, and the only time I ever been on a bike was with my uncle, riding me on his bike when I was like 8-10yrs old I feel Iam to old for this at my age Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
