EXOcontralto
I sent you an email. Overall design is 46" wide x 28.5" tall x 32" deep If you want to do a full wall, this box will not work. It is subs up, port rear. It can be adjusted for subs and ports on one side with minimal changes. This design is 32" deep, and the port is 21" deep. If you want lower tuning (30-31 Hz), make the box just as I sent you, but 34" deep instead of 32" and the port 25" long instead of 21". You around man? Do you think you could run up that same design for low tuned box for only 1 18? wildbeast15
am i the only one thinking that walling 18 with that much space is a little overkill?... i think a nice box around 8-9 cubes would do better am i right? The set up your talking about would sound great in my Tahoe. Trade you my dog for it. He has one eye but that only makes for bad depth perception so hey so what if he is running into shit, look at it this way he is easy to sneak up ninja style on. Bunker
Yea it would be overkill. I think he is looking for more in the lines of subs up port back. Overkill? - I'm not going to be mounting the subs in a permanat horozontal wall situation - I'm doing the wall to literally cut down the massive amount of airspace i have - The REAL YouTube Page ●▬▬▬▬★▬▬^๑۩۩๑^▬▬★▬▬▬▬● Head Unit - Pioneer DEH-p6000ub Equalizer - Soon To Come Amplifiers - (4) Soundstream TX1.2600d's Subwoofers - (2) Soundstream XXX 18's Enclosure - 16 Cubic Foot Wall Tuned to 38hz Power Wire - (200ft) Tsunami 0 Gauge PRO BIG 3 w/ 8 C&D Batteries Team DBs (Driven By sound)
EXOcontralto
Yea it would be overkill. I think he is looking for more in the lines of subs up port back. Why are you guys saying it's overkill? - It would improve SPL, be easier on the eyes, and more useful as a vehicle to have a whole space empty for something else - Are there reasons why you guys don't agree with a little wall barrier? Bunker
I wouldn't do a wall with 1 18 in your van, now I would do a wall for say 3 to 4 18s. EXOcontralto
I wouldn't do a wall with 1 18 in your van, now I would do a wall for say 3 to 4 18s. Hmmm. I disagree - I'd wall for 1 or 2 - but not for 4 - When you have that much cone area with 4 18's the massive airspace isn't an issue anymore because they move the air like nuthin 1 or 2 18's has a harder time movin that same amout of air - Therefore I'd rather just decrease the actual airspace , so I can bang louder. EXOcontralto
I had one kid design a nice box, but it was for 2 subwoofers, not one - I really appreciate his hard work doing all that for me - unfortunately I only have 1 18 inch woofer - If anyone can help, I will be so thankful. That's cool. The best I could do for you is pencil and paper drawing. But I would need a lot more dimensions J&T DESIGNS M5 4 Audioque 15's copper coils dropping Audiopipe, and picking up DB DRIVE OKUR Powermasters XS POWER Dropping MaxxSonics Pioneer
