EXOcontralto
i'd say if you want to wall it go for it a box would be easier but a wall would look bad ass in that van I'm not planning on having a wall with horizontally mounted subs - I want a wall to literally separate the rear from the front - I would still have a box - just in a smaller amount airspace - I will have a solid wall, with 2 18's tapered and fiberglassed around the edges to make it look solitary. - I want the subs to face out ports facing back - that way i'd have to have like a couple inches between then back wall and the rim of the box Feel me>? Bunker
Yes I understand what you want. Okay just seal the back wall off at the fenders. Now for the sub are you wanting it sub up port back, or sub forward port up, or sub forward port back? Bunker
Well if you have the money for a lot of wood it can be done and have someone with a TL meter to test several designs out it can be done. Without testing man honestly it's hard to say what would be best, that is something that takes time and money my friend. kentb
i would suggest that you use Aeroports so that you can experiment on some really low low tuning(high 20's) for massive flex on your videos and some high tuning(40+hz) when you compete so you get very good numbers(possible 150). New System 2 10" Fi SSD, Sundown 1500d Build I build and design enclosures(cheap price), PM ME Kicker L7 Navigator(plexiglass, fiberglass, aeroport) Build BTL 18" Escalade(plexiglass, battery tray) Build http://www.kentbaudio.com Old System
