my port will be slotted and falred "rounded off"

depth= 21"

now for my depth of my port...do i measure 21" from the end of the rounded edge of the port "on the outside" or the rounded end inside the port?

ok so what should my box = cube ft

for my box too be 10 cb ft after port displacement

thats what i need...10 cubic ft after port displacement...cuz kicker manual says there recommendations include a slotted port...with the woofer displcmnt already figured...

so all i gott do is make a box that ='s 10 cube ft after port displacment....witch is scrambling my brains....

if you can give me all my demensions i need, id be SO THANKFUL

box is already partially built..

24" hight

32.5 width

and 46.5 depth witch is wayyyyyyy too much....but i know i need too shorten it, but what do i shorten my depth too to get 10 cube ft after port displacment?

consitering the port will be on the right side...and the port wall on the right will be part of the box...

If you feel like payin for a design and endin your headache hit me up, lol. I still say 10 cubes is WAY TOO MUCH for that sub on that power. Youre gunna kill it on 4k in that big of a box. When you run over rated power you wanna run a smaller box.

you coun't the displacement of the port as the airspace in it PLUS the extra wood used to make it. so for a slot port its Internal WxHxL PLUS board WxHxL for one piece of board.

When talking about enclosure volumes its either gross volume or net volume. Total volume does not specify anything.

Net volume is the only volume of air the speaker "sees"...after all displacements

Gross is the volume of everything inside the enclosure...driver, port, bracing, etc.
