bumonskateboard6 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I was putting a "mini system" in my girl's car today Kicker L5 15" D4 wired at 2 ohms and a Hifonics TXI-1508D. I go to turn on the amp and the Hifonics logo illuminates like it should but the green power light on the side doesn't stay on for more than a few seconds. No protect light goes on or anything it just turns on and off with no real noises either. All rockford fosgate 4 gauge for power and ground, and a line output converter hooked up to her rear speakers for the signal (no money for a deck yet). I can't figure out why it goes off though without even going into protect. Please HELP!!! Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
