Symmetry9898 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Hey guys and girls, i just wanted to see what people would say when i ask this. I have a few old school waffle style punch amps with original boxes, paper work, package paper, etc... Anyway, do you guys think it would be dumb of me to run them in my truck since they are so old and in great shape? They do have a "memorabilia" type feeling to me since i have had them so long. If i do use them, would it look funny to have all of these old ass amps running new speakers? dumb question i know, but i just wanted to see what yall think. Thanks in advance. PS please excuse my spelling, its been a long day... If I had the chance to get two old school crossfire 602's then I would cause those amps was the shit back in the day! alot of the amps back in the day were bomb, high quality, and sometimes even hand made. I collect all this old stuff i still have a punch DVC 12 from 97 that is still brand new LOL. Im crazy like that. Not only do i like the way the stuff used to sound, but also the looks of it. i think the punch amps of yesteryear look way better than the ones today, except for the power elite series in 2008, those things are just sick Build in progress: Kenwood DNX890HD Rockford Fosgate White wolf RCA's 2 Rockford Fosgate T400.4 on RF fanatic q components (6.5 in the kick, 6.5 in the front doors, 5.25 in rear doors)2 Rockford Fosgate T2500's on sub 1 Fi car audio Team 15 D1 XS Power D3400 and three D975's in the rear Mechman Elite 370 Stinger power connections and cable
