LSN2meBoom916
Alright gawddamnit... here's the first lil group of pix that took like 10 hrs to upload. The vertical sides goin on the "outer enclosure" Predrilled from underneath. Other side too Here's how I do it: Predrill w/ countersink, then put the glue on where the board will sit, then put the screws thru just so the tips are poking up. Put the other pieces along side to stand ur piece up while u tighten them screws-helps keep the 90deg angle. LSN2meBoom916
The predrills in the vertical sides All the sides on. Other side angle. Here's where the box will sit. If I push it all the way forward there's this much space in front of the subs once the front goes on. (bout 3-4") The amount of space around the egde. Other side And if I put the top on at MAX height it'd sit right here Rear Seat side More to come...but not much more. Coolwazabi
i got a question.. if you use that much resin... do you already add the hardner ? cause i have to use 3oz at a time... and it'll get too hard to use within in like 5 min.
LSN2meBoom916
If you're referring to the pic of the cup-o-resin, then yes I add the hardener to THAT much and apply it as needed with minimal waste/leftovers. (just enough wasted/hardened resin to coat the inside of that cup) Unless you use a lil CC measuring device like Steve and some other folks, its just a matter of "getting to know" the mix ratios and how long it will last/take to harden up. I am confident in my mixes so I know how long I have b4 it will be unusabley hard and I get it where it needs to be before then.
