bobo333
no comments makes me sad in the pants maybe pixorz will get you talkin? today i started on a fake amp to fill the gap where my second monoblock will be when i can get one, its mainly to help tidy up some loose wires and make the boot look more presentable for a couple of shows coming up: i gave it a few coats of silver to try and match the other amps: i also painted the 2 channels mounts black to match the box while i was at it: and the trim panels around the wall heres what the rear end looks like now: i will add the darker grey strip and a custom logo to the center of my "amp" tommorow to finish it off who wants more vids? ^^^ clicky pics for build logs ^^^

bobo333
hey guys, today i got some more ring/fork terminals and cable to wire up the last of the speaker amps, i also pulled all of the temporary crappy wiring out and started to run it all neatly in its final place: once all the wiring was out i started on the buss bars, i found some 35mm x 6mm steel plate in the shed so i decided to use it, i know its not as good as aluminium or copper but im not running much power and its pretty decent size so i think it will be fine, plus it was free i marked out the holes then drilled them with a stepped bit on my trusty makita: after that it got too dark for me to take pics but they are now in the car for a test fit before i sand them down for maximum contact and bolt them in perminantly, il get some better pics tommorow once ive finished tidying the wiring up and hooking it all up ^^^ clicky pics for build logs ^^^

bobo333
whats a wof? im assuming its something like RWC? we dont need to do them here (in south australia) but ive been pulled over by the cops a couple of times and none of them have said anything about it... its all in the cargo area so its just like stacking it right up to go camping or something i guess today i rewired the boot to tidy it all up... heres what i finished last night but it was too dark to take pics: today i untangled all of the wiring: then started clipping it up where it needed to go: i then trimmed and neatly fixed the speaker wires going to the top 2 amps, i also cut down the power wires to the right length and crimped and soldered the terminals on: the switch on here is to turn the rear speakers on and off, becasue i have my head unit set on 3 way active mode i dont have a fader, for daily listening il leave them off but if theres poeple in the back seat or im at a show i can turn the rears back on last but not least the 2 channel went on to cover all of my hard work up: once i was sure everything was tight and nothing would catch fire i pushed the box back to its normal place (i pushed it forward to access the wiring underneath) i also added these wires, can anyone guess what their for? ^^^ clicky pics for build logs ^^^
vexproductions
Are you going to make a full trim panel for the rear. I think it would make it look real nice. But so far so go keep up the good work.
