No no caps, just dont do it lol.

And the big 3 means upgraded wiring in the engine bay.

The three wires are:

+ Alt to + Bat

- Bat to Ground

Engine to Ground

It allows more power to flow throughout the circuit that is made up of your wiring and the frame.

so ur saying u just have ur power wire hooked to the battery and then straight into the amp?

if so thats why you are getting voltage problems and drops?

No thats not why. The problem should be fixed tonight, I just have to bolt up my upgraded grounds.

I shouldnt really NEED a second battery till around 1600-2000 rms, although my RF might be pushing like 1400 (and my speaker amp does around 340), so that's why I said I might still need one. But my problem will be helped a lot by upgrading the grounds. We'll see how it goes though.

Haha okay I will when I get a chance. I'm gonna be out of town tonight but I'll post it up tomorrow.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for not having a fuse between my alt and bat, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

By the way, I still get some drops, not nearly as bad though, and my volts read a solid 15 or a little over 15 when I'm at normal listening levels. Hard to tell though, I need to get a real voltmeter in there.
