first comp on sunday

I am going to be entering my first SPL competiton on Sunday and i have a couple of questions.

They are going by dbdrag rules.

i was reading through the rules and i have a couple of questions before i go to the competiton.

before i ask my questions. here is my setup

2 sundown z15s

1 saz-2000d

1 batt under hood

1 in trunk.

the subs r in my trunk.

what class should i compete in to have the best chance of winning?

i dont have a term lab, how do i know what song to play?

and can start in the middle of the song or does it have to be in the beginning?

and can i take my backseat out or will that affect the class im in?

You're in Street C as long as your box is under the window line.

You can fold the back seat but if you remove it you'll go into Super Street 1-2NW and potentially be competing against guys with 16v battery banks and 2 18's.

In Street C you cannot run the engine in the lanes.

You can play whatever you like. I recommend using a sweep first to find out your peak frequency (someone there should be able to tell you after just one sweep at 85% volume) then play some tones around that level. Someone there will have a DB Jams CD where the track number (above 19 or so) corresponds to the tone. So play a sweep and if it peaks at say 48hz then play tracks 46-47-48-49-50

I dont mean to thread jack, but i have also been wondering what class i would compete in...thats like the only thing keeping me from starting... taking that first plunge...my equipment is in my sig if anyone feels like telling me...lol

If you end up in streetbeat I would recommend Lil Wyte's Oxycottin. The bass starts at like 23 seconds and it doesnt stop. Just remember if your in streetbeat you gotta use the actual store bought CD and not a burnt one because of chopping and screwing with the bass notes. Hope this helps!
